Cancellation & Refund Policy

Your booking is confirmed only once we've received the required advance payment and acknowledged the reservation.

Please give us accurate contact and booking details at the time you reserve — this is what we use to confirm, remind, and process any later requests.

What you get back depends on how far ahead of check-in you cancel:

All refunds are calculated after deducting any payment gateway, bank, or transaction charges.

If you leave before your booked departure date, we don't normally refund the unused nights.

We'll consider exceptions case by case, at our discretion, depending on the circumstances.

Want to change your dates, guest count, or room? We'll do our best, subject to availability.

• A change that affects the total booking value may mean an additional payment or an adjustment.
• Date changes requested close to check-in may be treated as a cancellation and a fresh booking, under the terms above.

On rare occasions — safety concerns, natural events, operational issues, or things beyond our control — we may need to cancel a confirmed booking.

When that happens, you'll be offered one of the following:

• A suitable alternative date, subject to availability, or
• A full refund of the amount you've paid.

We won't be responsible for other costs you've incurred, such as transport or alternative accommodation.

We're not liable for disruption caused by events beyond reasonable control — severe weather, landslides, road closures, government restrictions, civil disturbance, and similar situations common to the hills around Kalimpong.

Any refund or adjustment in these cases is considered on a case-by-case basis.

Approved refunds are usually initiated within 7–10 working days of approval, and paid back through the original payment method.

How long it takes to actually land in your account depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider — that part is outside our hands.

Any payment gateway fees, bank charges, or other non-refundable transaction costs are deducted from the refundable amount before it's returned to you.

Medical emergencies, travel disruptions, or other exceptional situations may be considered outside the standard policy, on a case-by-case basis.
